Solutions Outpatient Services believes that treatment
is only the beginning of recovery. Continuing care begins upon admission in the
assessment and continues until discharge. Solutions' counselors not only work
with the client to develop a comprehensive continuing care plan, but they also
facilitate the family's continuing care plans as well.
Typically, a continuing care plan would include
referrals for individual and/or group counseling, Twelve Step support groups,
and sometimes residential settings are recommended to insure a better chance of
recovery.
Aftercare participation is
included as part of the client and family's written discharge commitment. Alumni contacts are given to both clients
and family members. Solutions Outpatient Services believes the continuing care
plan to be one of, if not the most important part of a client's
treatment.
SOS Alumni Association is an
organization that is dedicated to the ongoing support of those clients and
family members who have gone through treatment at Solutions.
Everyone who has been a part of Solutions Outpatient
Services is an honorary member of the Alumni Association. The Association
supports a regular newsletter and ongoing special events held at Solutions'
office and elsewhere.
